KYOUTO
Kyoto (Kyoto, Miyako, Today's Miyako, English: Kyōto ) is a place name and city in Japan. Heiankyo, also known as the capital or Kyoto, has historically been the capital of Japan since 794, and was the political and cultural center of Japan at that time. In 1869 (the first year of the Meiji era), the central function of national politics was moved to Tokyo (Tokyo) [4] while leaving Kyoto as the capital, so it is said that the capital of Japan is still Kyoto. It may be interpreted. There is no existing law that defines the capital of Japan. The current "Kyoto" refers to the comprehensive local public body, Kyoto Prefecture, located in the Kinki region, and the basic local public body, Kyoto City, where the government office is located.
